Job Title: Low Voltage DAS Installer - Data Center Support Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Information Technology / Telecommunications / Data Infrastructure Reports To: Project Manager / Field Supervisor About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage DAS (Distributed Antenna System) Installer to join our growing team supporting mission-critical data center environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low voltage systems, particularly DAS, and a strong understanding of structured cabling, RF signal distribution, and installation best practices. Key Responsibilities: * Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics, coaxial) for DAS systems in data center environments. * Mount and secure DAS components including antennas, splitters, couplers, and head-end equipment. * Perform signal testing, troubleshooting, and system optimization using RF test equipment. * Interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation. * Maintain compliance with safety standards, building codes, and customer specifications. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure timely project completion. * Document installation progress, test results, and as-built configurations. Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in low voltage or DAS installation (data center experience preferred). * Familiarity with DAS OEMs such as Commscope, Corning, JMA, or SOLiD. * Proficient with RF test tools (e.g., spectrum analyzers, PIM testers, sweep testers). * Ability to work in high-security environments and follow strict access protocols. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. * OSHA 10/30 certification preferred. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Work Environment: * Fast-paced, high-security data center environments. * May require travel to multiple sites. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
