Inventory Controls Administrator, Full Time, Easton PA
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for inventory accuracy to assist in increasing efficiency in plant operations.
Monitors and maintains accurate system flow of materials between warehouse and manufacturing in all Lehigh Valley facilities. Ensures corporate cycle targets are fulfilled to comply with internal and external auditors.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze and perform accurate resolutions to inventory variances by posting the correct transaction including but not limited to the following: transfer posting, goods issues, MDF scrap, Process scrap, and OSMI scrap
- Meet the cycle count requirements of Finance and external auditors for procedural controls. Demonstrate CC procedure to external auditors, providing a report of all audited materials preventing an annual physical inventory
- Perform scheduled monthly PIDs based off the material's cycle count indicator; work with manager to update indicators, as needed
- Check, research, and fix any inventory discrepancies found in Warehouse Activity Monitor, COGI, and COOIS.
- Monitor in-transit variance reports and outstanding STO's. Investigate variances and recommend solutions. Resolve shortages/overages reported by other facilities
- Review processes affecting SAP inventory variances and identify root causes using A3 methodology; involve others to gain understanding and make suggestions for change
- Coordinates special requests with departments such as R&D, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Sales to adjust inventory and apply the material cost to correct G/L and Cost Center
- Assist Team Managers with SAP WM training and accuracy. Suggest improvements in the process to maximize accuracy of transactions. Record scanning transaction errors and communicate data to Team Managers.
- Assist in resolving invoice/receipt discrepancies on PO
- Must be flexible to travel to other Crayola locations: Forks I/CDC/LVIP as needed
- Safely operate a powered forklift to move materials in the warehouse to cycle count materials. Maintain a Crayola industrial powered vehicle/forklift license
- Process returns from customer to correct RA
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing or similar repetitive assembly experience preferred.
- Must be competent in basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and fractions.
- Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Very good PC software application skills.
- Thorough knowledge of SAP & SAP WM
- Thorough knowledge of inventory control concepts
- High level of attention to detail
- Must have the ability to work alone with minimum supervision/direction.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
