Pandora

Pandora is available through its mobile app, the web, and integrations with more than 2,000 connected products.

How you'll make an impact:

SiriusXM is seeking a highly accomplished Vice President of Business Development to spearhead strategic business development efforts across the company. You will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding our subscriber base, and maximizing revenue potential. You will work closely with the executive team, collaborating with various departments to develop and execute strategic initiatives. Your investment banking experience and financial modeling expertise will be essential in conducting market analysis, assessing financial viability, and crafting compelling business proposals.

What you'll do:
Partnership Development:

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders to expand the company's network.

  • Participate in negotiations and deal structuring processes to secure partnerships and business agreements.

  • Prepare persuasive and professional business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks for potential clients and investors.

Market Insight and Innovation:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities by conducting in-depth market research and analysis.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

  • Business Analysis and Strategy

  • Develop comprehensive financial models and projections to assess the feasibility and profitability of potential business ventures.

  • Provide analytical support and insights to optimize existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.

  • Support the executive team in developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive business growth.

  • Stakeholder & Industry Engagement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business strategies and execute initiatives that align with the company's growth objectives.

  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to represent the company and promote its services.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.

  • 15yrs experience in Business Development, with Previous experience in investment banking or corporate finance, with a strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.

  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, conduct market research, and assess financial viability.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively negotiate with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, etc.) and familiarity with CRM systems.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of Media, Audio Entertainment industry/sector and an understanding of the key drivers and challenges within the market.

  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and other business-related activities.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $226,000 to $275,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
