Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Department of Athletics exists to provide educational and athletic opportunities to young men and women, to provide an environment for student-athletes to learn, advance and excel both academically and athletically, and serve the interests the University by complimenting and enhancing its diversity and quality of life. Through its athletic programs, the University seeks to unite alumni, faculty, administration and students in a common shared experience. The governing unit within the Department of Athletics and promotes the department's guiding principle of educating and inspiring through athletics.
Position Summary
Position(s) will monitor student-athletes attendance of class by shadowing student athletes for 105-member team. Job duties include ensuring that student attendance is meeting team, departmental and University requirements toward the academic success of the student athletes, as well as developing a familiarity with students' schedules as necessary.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Education and Experience:
-Possession of superior organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to function in a fast-pace, multi-task setting; working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs: Word and Excel; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work independently and as a part of a team;
knowledge of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's campus a plus.
