About the Role

The Manager, Lifecycle Marketing will lead acquisition and retention focused marketing efforts, playing a key role in accelerating the growth of Roon's subscriber base through developing, launching, and optimizing programs that support our business objectives. This is a dynamic role that has a strong focus on performance marketing and will work cross-functionally to craft and execute strategies that maximize conversion, lifetime value, and churn. We're looking for a data-driven and creative thinker that can execute day-to-day operations with the ability to move fast, iterate, and pivot in response to strategic shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in growing audiences across paid and owned channels, bringing new strategies to life, and optimizing across different areas of the customer lifecycle.

What You Will Do

  • Own end-to-end lifecycle initiatives across strategy development, execution, and reporting
  • Lead efforts to grow customer acquisition through new paid advertising channels, identifying channels with market potential and building pilot campaigns
  • Continuously launch experiments and iterate to optimize performance, balancing incremental building and big bets
  • Ideate and launch new retention programs that optimize specific areas of the customer lifecycle (e.g, onboarding, engaged, at-risk)
  • Work with creative to develop deep understanding of what resonates with customers and optimize content/messaging accordingly
  • Assist on market/consumer insights initiatives to uncover insights and inform strategy
  • Partner with operations team to deliver all necessary campaign details in a timely manner as well as QA campaigns to ensure seamless deployment
  • Act as a key stakeholder in building stronger creative and user experiences

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in lifecycle marketing, ideally at a DTC brand managing multi-channel marketing programs
  • Hands on experience building and scaling paid media campaigns; deep understanding of the media landscape and the role various creative and ad solutions/products play in the purchase funnel
  • High degree of comfort assessing performance across marketing funnel
  • Expertise in leveraging acquisition, customer, and behavioral data to input/use segmentation models that enhance personalization
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing, customer segmentation, and data-driven marketing
  • Expert project manager with ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
  • Bachelors degree or higher in a related field

  • A passion for delivering top-notch audio experiences to users and an interest in the audio technology domain.
  • Ability to take complex information and distill it into simple, memorable terms for customers

Pay Transparency
$ 105,000 - $ 154,000
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.

Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
