Job Description: Seeking Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant! Baptist Health Floyd, Lactation Clinic Benefit Eligible Job Duties: The lactation consultant is responsible for initiating a plan of care to provide consistent and evidence-based practice interventions. The lactation consultant provides staff training in lactation support and gives direction by mentoring to nursing and allied health staff at the bedside. Qualifications: Current Indiana or compact state RN license BLS for Healthcare Providers required. NRP certification required (obtained within 6 months of hire). IBCLC certification required.
