Project Overview: The Family Tech Support Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a member of the Family Tech support Contact Center. The CSR is responsible for responding to a high volume of inquiries about the company's products or services, complaints, remote access to computers, helping with logins, website issues, and navigating their platforms. The Associate Customer Service Representative takes inbound calls, LiveChat, and/or emails from Family, students and Occasional calls from teachers who are with students.
100% remote | equipment provided. Key Responsibilities: * Hardware Troubleshooting: Provide support for performance issues, mic/camera settings, and peripherals such as mouse, keyboard, and monitors, primarily for HP laptops. * Active Directory Management: Handle password resets and manage user accounts within Active Directory. * Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to home networks and domain environments, including adding computers to a domain and managing printers and scan folders. * Internet/Browser Troubleshooting: Assist with troubleshooting internet connectivity and browser-related issues. * Computer Reimaging: Perform basic reimaging of PCs and provide support for Apple computers when needed. * Remote Troubleshooting Tools: Utilize tools like Bomgar/BeyondTrust for remote troubleshooting. * Google Apps Support: Provide support for Google Drive, Voice, Hangouts/Meet, and Gmail. * Zoom Support: Assist with Zoom, including experience with Class and troubleshooting. Requirements: * Previous technical experience providing hardware troubleshooting, password resets, etc. * Troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve common hardware/software issues. * Customer service skills: Patience, empathy, and clear communication. * Must have a quiet workspace and a strong internet connection. * HS Diploma or equivalent is required. Details: * 100% remote | Equipment provided * Pay: $17/hr. * Pay cycle - weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered. * Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 6:00pm EST * Anticipated Start Date: July 7th, 2025. * Anticipated Contract length: 3 months (10/31/2025). *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
