Description Team: This team consists of 6 engineers. Environment: 15,000 users Arista networking,1,500 virtual servers 1,000 Windows and 300 Linux Nutanix primarily for servers and Checkpoint/Z-Scaler firewalls. They are also implementing Azure into their cloud space. 2 datacenters Experience with Arista EOS, cloud vision, EVPN, and BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) Ability to work with both cloud and on-premises environments Knowledge of firewall policy management in a deny-by-default environment like Azure, including managing policies, using logging tools, and troubleshooting connectivity issues Experience with Terraform to manage the Azure environment, with the ability to work independently Understanding of ExpressRoute, a dedicated connectivity solution from an on-premises data center to Azure Experience supporting server team migrations to Azure and maintaining on-premises data center network infrastructure Proficiency in handling firewall policies and building VNets and firewall policies in Azure Strong work ethic, proactive attitude, and ability to own the environment Skills Network engineering, Data center, azure, terraform, load balancer, Firewall, Arista, Router, waf, Bgp Additional Skills & Qualifications This Network Engineer must have experience with datacenter networking, as there are old school legacy technologies in their environment that need to be cared for everyone in a while. Terraform is a must have, author level experience for infrastructure as a code (IaC)They will work with Arista technologies although experience with Cisco products is acceptable. Must be strong with BGP and understand how it works. shifting traffic from one router to another. Checkpoint firewalls, ability to help manage firewall polices and know when to overlap, combine, etc. Also Barracuda WAF (Web Application Firewalls). Working knowledge of F5 load balancers Azure load balancers are acceptable. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $125000.00/yr. Extreme autonomy. Merit based increase of up to 3% annually. Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually. 401k match 100% up to 5%. Unlimited training with Udemy, Cisco, Dell, and others.
