JOB TITLE: Global Operational Excellence Lead

JOB SUMMARY

As a Global Operational Excellence Lead, you will lead the implementation of an Operational Excellence culture across the organization on a global scale, leveraging Lean, Lean Six Sigma, and other Continuous Improvement methodologies to reduce waste, improve operations and increase customer satisfaction. You will serve as the subject matter expert to collaborate and educate cross-functional teams on a local and global scale, create and revise processes and systems, and monitor progress towards the global OpEx strategy. As a key member of the global Operational Excellence Team, you will mentor team members in fostering a culture of Operational Excellence and deliver sustainable business results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES




  • Accountable for the implementation of the Operational Excellence strategy throughout the organization. Includes collaborating with senior leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets for operational improvement.
  • Foster a culture of Operational Excellence by providing education & awareness, and standardizing procedures, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, agile and any other required methodologies.
  • Develop strategies, systems, and tools to drive cost, customer service, and associate satisfaction to World-Class levels.
  • Evaluate and measure the maturity level of the factory to reach World-Class levels. Provide regular reports to leadership on the progress of global operational excellence efforts.
  • Lean Thinker that drives the culture with a mindset of Continuous Improvement.
  • Identify and implement new processes, systems, programs, and operating mechanisms to enhance operational excellence culture, remove wastes, and variability on a global scale.
  • Create a "Multiplier Effect" by helping factory teams drive Operational Excellence across their departments through OpEx unifying elements, components, systems, and tools.
  • Identify areas of improvement to deliver a robust and cost-effective end-to-end process through constant continuous improvement initiatives and mindset.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with operational processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide Best Practices to other global manufacturing sites to share and learn within the network.
  • Maintain the alignment between local and global OpEx strategies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education



  • Bachelor of Science degree required.
  • Master of Science or Business degree preferred.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and training in Lean or other Continuous Improvement training required.
  • Change Management experienced required.


Experience



  • Minimum 10 years of experience as process, industrial, manufacturing engineer, or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years of GMP and medical devices environment.


  • Demonstrated experience teaching continuous improvement and, problem solving methodologies.
  • Proficiency in organizing and leading OpEx efforts to drive continuous improvements on a large scale.



Other Requirements



  • Demonstrated ability to speak, write and communicate in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels and across global audiences.


  • Excellent organizational and public speaking skills.
  • Change management experience in implementing new ways of thinking.
  • Global mindset and experience working in a multinational environment.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effectively prioritizes tasks to ensure the timely completion of projects and assignments.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • High level of persuasion and influencing skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally, approximately 25-30%.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

General Labor Environment requirements include use of personal protective equipment, reading, speaking, hearing, walking, bending, standing, stretching/reaching, hand/finger dexterity, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, or transporting up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment.

Target Pay Range:$116,800.00to$146,000.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

Target Bonus on Base:7.0%
