For more information, visit www.idexxbioanalytics.com About the role: As a BioAnalytics field sales account manager, your role would be to maintain and grow the preclinical research and biologic material testing services segments of the business, along with the vivarium biosecurity business, within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets. Your call points will include study directors, research scientists, study managers, research associates, lab animal veterinarians, operations managers, and research lab managers. Your customers would be found in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and contract research companies. Your responsibilities include cultivating long-term relationships with key leaders in your territory to garner business in support of preclinical research projects, biologial material quality assurance programs, and increasing the research animal health monitoring laboratory business -- both maintaining and growing. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Overnight travel. Some weekend work. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position involves a potential for exposure to chemical and biological agents known to cause disease in humans, radioactive materials, and the use of hazardous materials as defined by the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29CFR).
