The publication ranks the top 100 Security Dealers in the Country on an annual basis. We have a need for skilled security or fire alarm technicians with experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill level. Requirements: * Ability to troubleshoot, service, repair, modify and replace Fire, CCTV, Access control and Security Alarm Systems. * Minimum 2 yrs Field experience at Installing, Servicing, Testing, Inspecting & Troubleshooting Systems. Responsibilities: * Installation of new systems * Servicing of existing systems * Participate in paid on-call rotation (approximately once per month) * Maintain truck inventory * Provide technical input to management and sales staff on new or current projects * General Security offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which include options of medical, dental, life, disability insurance, Aflac and a 401(K) plan. Skills Cat5, Cat6, access control, IP video Top Skills' Details 1) Highly skilled in Intrusion, IP video and Access Control 2) [Alarm.com](https://alarm.com/) experience would be very helpful 3) Minimum 2 years of field experience Installing, Servicing, Testing, Inspecting & Troubleshooting Systems. * Ability to work with hand tools and power tools * Must be able to lift up to 30lbs of weight, carry tools, ladders * Must be comfortable working on ladders * OSHA 10 certification (we can assist in providing this training if hired) * Candidates may be subject to drug test and background check * Positive attitude * Represent yourself and the company in a professional manner to our clients at all times * Effective Troubleshooting skills * Effective communication skills Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
