Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented leader to oversee the Planning, Fulfillment, Order Entry, and Order Management teams within our Front-End Trading Group division. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence in the delivery of mission-critical solutions for industries including data centers, hospitals, and semiconductor facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record in order management, supply chain and operational management within high-stakes manufacturing environments.
The work model for the role is onsite (#LI-Onsite) in our Richmond, VA facility.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Developing and executing strategies for efficient planning, fulfillment, order entry, and order management processes to meet customer demands in mission-critical industries.
- Enhancing supply chain and order management processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of mission-critical products.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers in the data center, healthcare, and semiconductor sectors.
- Implementing best practices and cutting-edge technologies to streamline operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in planning, supply chain, or operations management, preferably within the electrical manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and driving efficiency in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP systems, supply chain tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
