Strategic Operations Manager

The Center for Innovation and the Neurodiversity Center for Excellence at Curry College seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Strategic Operations Manager to lead and support key initiatives that enhance Curry College's impact. This role will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs through a central database, manage cross-functional projects, and drive operational efficiency. The role will collaborate with various Curry College departments, including admissions and enrollment teams, to ensure alignment of operations and goals. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in strategic operations, advanced and a passion for fostering programming in education and employment.

Essential Functions:

1. Project & Program Management:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic programming;
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic goals;
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and impact assessments;
  • Identify risks, propose solutions, and track performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

2. Strategic Operations & Process Improvement:
  • Develop and refine operational workflows to optimize program efficiency and scalability;
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Center's initiatives;
  • Ensure effective resource allocation across projects, including personnel, technology, and funding;
  • Support grant management efforts by tracking deliverables, reporting progress, and assisting with proposal development.

3. Stakeholder & Partnership Engagement:
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, employer partners, and operational teams at Curry College;
  • Develop strategies for employer engagement, including training programs and partnerships;
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and events to strengthen collaborations and share best practices;
  • Serve as a liaison between the Neurodiversity Center for Excellence, the Center for Innovation, and Curry College departments.

4. Technology & Data Management:
  • Implement and manage digital tools to support programming;
  • Collect and analyze program data to assess impact and inform strategic decisions;
  • Work with Curry IT department on implementation of technology support tools.

5. Institutional Knowledge & Collaboration:
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Curry College's operations;
  • Collaborate with the Center for Innovation and the Neurodiversity Center's initiatives to align with institutional goals and priorities.

Additional Functions:
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality, parameters of operation, professional protocols, and individual privacy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or their designee.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, strategic operations, or program coordination.
  • Strong database, analytic, and metric creation skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with neurodivergent individuals, disability services, or inclusive workforce initiatives.
  • Experience in grant management, budgeting, and impact reporting.
  • Familiarity with college operations, including admissions and enrollment processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in business administration, public administration, computer science , or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certification.
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies and accessibility best practices.

Salary Range:

$80,000 to $85,000 annually
