Job Description
JOB OBJECTIVE: Seeking a Sales Intern professional to work closely with the Northern California Sales Team to support customer engagement efforts across key life science market segments. This role offers hands-on experience in sales operations and customer relationship management while contributing to Promega's business development efforts across strategic and high-potential accounts, exposure to various key market segments for life science sales, and business channel exposure, as well as learnings toward a highly collaborative, consultative partnership sales approach. 1. Engage with strategic accounts using Promega's client resource management system (CRM) to manage interactions and ensure a robust, responsive relationship. Product and Service Promotion: 1. Assist in promoting and aligning Promega's innovative products and services, focusing on how these meet the unique needs and bring value to each client. 2. Help facilitate early access to new products and services, ensuring that strategic accounts are aware of the latest innovations. Content and Data Strategy Using AI Tools: 1. Employ AI tools such as ChatGPT to develop content strategies, enhance data analysis, and condense research papers to tailor Promega technologies to specific laboratory needs. Sales Tracking and Reporting: 1. Regularly update CRM with sales progress, client feedback, and market intelligence to optimize sales strategies and tactics. Inclusion and Safety: 1. Demonstrate inclusion through words and actions and be accountable for a safe workspace. Emotional & Social Intelligence (ESI): 1. Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Co-Pilot, Integrated AI features) to enhance productivity, analyze sales data, and generate actionable insights. 1. Ability to use Microsoft Office applications. 2. Ability to move up to twenty-five pounds. 3. Ability to walk up to 3 miles during the course of an 8-hour workday. Estimated starting salary range is $42,640 - $45,760 The full salary range for this position is: $41,600 - 52,000 The overall salary range for this role provides for growth beyond this initial starting salary range. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Estimated starting salary range is based upon market competitiveness and internal equity.
