Key Duties: Receive requests from marketing and/or customers to pick up/deliver product loads and record load information in appropriate tracking systems. Plan and coordinate load assignments and communicate required information to drivers to ensure customer service requests are met timely and appropriately. Monitor load volume and notify local management team if the volume exceeds driver availability. Utilize the dispatch system to maintain accurate and timely dispatch records. Ensure proper trailers are assigned to drivers to ensure product compatibility when needed. Report all equipment issues to appropriate personnel for repair. Report all driver performance issues to local management team. Promote safety to all drivers on a continuous basis. Required Skills, Experience, and Education: High school diploma or GED Two years of trucking experience, preferred Basic computer skills Familiarity with DOT regulations as they relate to trucking operations Strong oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work within a fast-paced, stressful environment Ability to establish and maintain effective and positive relationships with employees and customers Pleasant, efficient and professional manner Genesis Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
