Meter Reader

If you're detail-oriented, enjoy working outdoors, and have strong customer service skills, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Pay: $15.64/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing:

• Drive company vehicles along designated routes to access meter locations
• Accurately read and record water meter data using handheld devices
• Verify readings and troubleshoot unusual or inconsistent data (high/low usage)
• Inspect meters to ensure proper function and report any issues
• Maintain accurate records of readings, customer account numbers, and meter IDs
• Provide courteous service and represent the utility professionally in the field

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
