Lead Data Analyst

Community Teamwork is seeking a Lead Data Analyst, who will be responsible for entering and maintaining client data for housing programs; scheduling and processing monthly payments; accounts payable administration; troubleshooting complex software issues for Leased Housing programs, and performing quality control functions to ensure compliance with Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) regulations, internal policies, and accuracy of data and reporting.

Responsibilities include:



  • Run mandated reports for check processing and administer monthly check processing for leased housing. Maintain records of all past check runs
  • Reconcile with Leased Housing staff monthly Hold report and release payments as needed to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments
  • Work with the Leased Housing Manager of Quality and Compliance to identify, review and adjust late re-exams to ensure program compliance with DHCD
  • Monitor "End of Participation" monthly reports to eliminate payment errors
  • Maintain fraud recovery ledger and reconcile monthly with fiscal staff for accurate reporting
  • Oversee petty cash and process invoices and payments for promissory notes
  • Maintain collection of data, data entry and processing forms necessary to process leased housing payments
  • Review MRI-Tenmast payment forms for errors and accuracy
  • Apply payment adjustments and calculations and update existing calculations according to documentation submitted by Leased Housing staff
  • Ensure the submitted client and vendor files are in accordance with DHCD & program guidelines
  • Collect and post hand checks, landlord reimbursements and voids to process the monthly reconciliation
  • Assist in conduct of regular quality control reviews of leased housing data and payment processing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with auditing files and records to ensure they adhere to internal policies and EOHLC regulations.
  • Identify discrepancies or errors and work with staff to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality control reviews and provide reports to management.
  • Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by ensuring documentation accuracy.



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma and 2 years of related database experience required
  • Knowledge of basic accounting
  • Desire to work with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, or comparable software and tracking systems
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality of information
  • Ability to respond to all correspondence in a timely manner
  • Bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Must currently reside within commuting/driving distance of downtown Lowell, MA
