We are seeking an Engineer Mid.

Located on-site at Portsmouth, VA.

Responsibilities:

* Provide technical support in the principles, techniques and practices of mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering and/or naval architecture as they relate to aircraft carrier hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E), aviation and electronic shipboard systems.

* These tasks require extensive knowledge in, but not limited to aircraft carrier maintenance philosophy, ship installation drawings, RCM principles and ship operations as well as the ability to organize data in a cohesive manner to submit finding for evaluation and action

* Provide technical support for the development and management and refinement of the non-nuclear CMP, BAWPs and modernization for execution during CVN availabilities.

* Requires ensuring technical requirements, periodicities and associated configuration are current within each assigned CMP maintenance requirement

* Collect, manage, and analyze data (e.g., maintenance, risk, material condition) of specified systems or components based on specific criteria and submit finding for evaluation and action

* Assist in development of life-cycle strategies for aircraft carrier distributive systems and select components

* Develop, maintain, and report metrics as required

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's level degree in any engineering discipline

* Minimum 5 years professional experience.

* 10+ years professional experience (Preferred)

* Data analytics & maintenance and modernization experience related to aircraft carriers, naval ships, or large ship design, construction, or maintenance (Preferred)

Security Clearance:

Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance.
