About this role

The Head of Health Systems is primarily responsible for defining the Health Care System (HCS) and Professional Society (PS) strategy for TargetRWE and then identifying, engaging, onboarding, and supporting these partnerships. Execution of the functions is critical to the success of Target RWE, and will account for approximately 80% of the individual's responsibilities.

This position has key accountability to develop and manage the relationships required to expand the data acquisition pipeline, tap into existing relationships, and establish new relationships with HCS to ensure momentum in therapeutic areas aligned with the organizational roadmap. This position will develop forecasts, timelines, and recommendations for data partnerships to ensure delivery consistent with goals for cost, speed, and quality. This position will work closely with internal teams responsible for the data onboarding process and serve as the trusted liaison between site and TRWE technical teams for onboarding processes.

This individual will have a depth of understanding of the role of health systems in the execution of complex studies. The other 20% of their time will be used in an internal advisory capacity to support strategic and operational plans for studies to meet the goals of industry partners. This will include supporting the business development team for proposal development and collaboration with cross-functional teams in areas such as site start-up, study development, implementation processes, and application of regulations and guidelines.

What You'll Do

  • Development of a strategic plan for HCS, including defining the value prop, financial incentives and relationships, structures of the data partnership, identification of target sites, facilitation of partnering, contracting and onboarding process, and ongoing success.
  • Development of a strategic plan for PS, including defining the value prop, financial incentives and relationships, structures of the partnership, identification of partners, facilitation of contracting and onboarding, and ongoing success.
  • Ownership of identification, pitch and contracting with future HCS and PS, with support from the commercial, medical affairs, and legal teams.
  • Ownership of the onboarding of HCS and PS with support from the operations and engineering teams.
  • Ownership of ongoing client success of HCS and PS with support from commercial and operational teams.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with the leadership, med affairs, EpidStats, operations, and technology teams to ensure the success of studies in the pipeline and those being conducted at TRWE.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of clinical operations experience with deep expertise in the role of health systems in clinical research and real-world data.
  • Strong strategic acumen, ability to synthesize ideas from a broad stakeholder base, ability to translate ideas to an action plan and ability to ensure the team coalesces around the resulting roadmap.
  • Thrives in a complex cross-functional environment, working across teams such as business development, operations, technology, and others.
  • Ability to forge strong bonds with health system and professional society leaders, advocating and supporting them throughout the journey.
  • Problem solver, excellent communicator, and advocate.
  • Attention to detail and sophisticated project management expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS) a plus.

Total Rewards

The salary estimated for this position is $225,000 - $275,000 + bonus + benefits. Compensation will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of the offer.
