What you'll be doing...

In this role you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and providing ongoing support to drive lead volume and growth for ACD - Alternate Channel Distribution Fios MTU (Multi-tenant unit) . In this role, you will have an assigned territory aligned to Indirect Agents. Within your assigned partner/s you will be responsible for acting as the strategic point of contact and representing all things Verizon for your partners. The role's primary focus will be on engaging in activities that increase participation (quality leads) from your hybrid wireline & wireless partners. You will be providing updates on business initiatives, training, and progress updates at different levels to your hybrid wireline & wireless partners. This means you'll be tailoring your communication style based on the audience in order to achieve maximum results. Being a part of this team means that you will manage multiple complex key initiatives and programs, meet aggressive deadlines, and be held accountable to high expectations on the execution of those programs.

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing partner or alliance relationships for the indirect selling of our products through a third party. Manages reseller sales activities, analyzes market trends and identifies gaps for areas of improvement. Drives sales of new products and provides ongoing product training to partners.

  • Manage team to meet and exceed sales goals. Set channel objectives and initiate performance planning with measurements in all key areas.

  • Instill core values and personal and team commitment throughout the organization. Maintain consistent communication on key objectives.

  • Responsible for analyzing sales results, monitoring productivity, forecasting and quota setting.

  • Analyze forecast, sales reporting and market conditions, and evaluate territories and market share to identify opportunities to increase growth and revenue and manage churn.

  • Attend local sales meetings with potential and existing key accounts to establish strong working relationships and promote the quality of Verizon.

  • Collaborating with leaders and support personnel in multiple workgroups including Operations, Marketing, and other cross-functional sales and support teams to drive process improvements and operations efficiencies that enable optimal lead growth through the execution regional sales initiative.

  • Performing extensive analysis on a variety of reports, and systems, to determine and simplify channel processes, policies, and procedures with territory assignments.

  • Developing deep relationships with your internal customers while getting to know their businesses, markets, and the challenges they face.

What we're looking for... You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau).

  • Experience managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience working within the Salesforce platform.

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline.

  • Three or more years of Wireline or Wireless management or relevant sales experience.

  • Excel and PowerPoint skills or Google's G-Suite platform.

  • Comprehension of VBG (Verizon Business Group), SMB, I2B organization, systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Knowledge of sales reporting systems.

  • Experience with POS - Optix2Go, B360, & Findr

  • Experience in cross-functional partnerships.

  • Territory Management Tool.

  • Knowledge of Dun and Bradstreet hierarchy and analysis.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal, written, and formal presentation skills.

Where you'll be working

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
