Job Description
Description Job Summary The Clinical Education Specialist is an advanced level RN position in clinical education that works to address staff educational needs within a specialty practice area, service and/or across the organization. Facilitates the professional development of licensed and unlicensed employees to enhance professional competency including (but not limited to) educational assessment, planning and outcome evaluation. Serves as subject matter expert in a lead capacity for organizational initiatives, including those in conjunction with hospital accreditation. Work may be performed collaboratively for multiple disciplines across the continuum of care or for a specific patient population or service area. Responsibilities And Scope
Qualifications Qualifications Hired candidates may be expected to attain certification as an American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). If required, training and assessment opportunities will be provided at no cost to the employee. Required
