Overview:

Olgoonik is seeking a highly organized and experienced Business Manager to serve as a key member of the Program Management Office (PMO). This role is essential to ensuring contract-wide coordination, administrative compliance, and operational continuity. The Business Manager will serve as the Alternate Point of Contact (Alt POC).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contract Compliance & Administrative Oversight
    • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and DLA-specific policies.
    • Oversee development, submission, and tracking of all CDRLs.
    • Manage contract deliverables, timelines, and milestones to support program accountability.
  • Financial & Budget Management
    • Lead efforts in budget tracking, invoicing oversight, and financial reporting.
    • Coordinate with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and cost control.
  • Operational Enablement
    • Support market research, labor cost analysis, and pricing for current and future task orders.
    • Lead coordination on legal, HR, and operational matters in support of CONUS and OCONUS deployments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with embedded HR, recruiting, and security specialists to ensure workforce readiness and compliance.
    • Coordinate with corporate departments through direct reach-back to Team Olgoonik headquarters for legal, administrative, and operational support.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Act as the alternate government point of contact for all operational requirements when the Director is on leave or unavailable.
  • Provide daily coordination across DLA Distribution and DLA Disposition operations to ensure alignment with contract objectives.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in federal contract management, DLA programs, or defense logistics operations.
  • Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS and DoD contracting requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and support multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience working with expeditionary or logistics-focused contracts preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with DLA systems, tools, and reporting structures.
  • Experience supporting CONUS and OCONUS operations and personnel deployment processes.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • PMP Certification or equivalent program management training.

Security Clearance:

  • SECRET Level Required
  • Must have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must also be able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance.
