The CMH Health practice of Milliman Inc. is seeking a responsible, motivated high school student to join our team this summer. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in a professional office setting while developing valuable communication, organization, and time-management skills. You will work with a supportive team and assist with tasks ranging from greeting visitors and answering phones to helping maintain a clean, stocked, and smooth-running workspace.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for assisting with administrative functions including, but not limited to:



  • Serve as a back-up for the reception desk, handling phones, greeting visitors, and fulfilling ad hoc requests.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including arranging space, equipment, and food; prepare meeting materials (e.g., charts, graphs, reports) for platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Answer and route phone calls professionally and courteously.
  • Take messages and respond to basic inquiries.
  • File, scan, photocopy, and assist with document preparation and general administrative tasks.
  • Assist with labels, mailings, and general office tasks.
  • Set up rooms as requested in collaboration with the day porter.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Assist with special projects or any additional tasks as assigned, adapting to the needs of the organization.

Minimum Requirements



  • Current Milwaukee Public High School student entering junior or senior year.
  • Physical ability to walk around, climb stairs, push carts, reach up and down, kneel, crawl, and lift heavy items (up to 30 pounds maximum).

Location / Schedule



  • This position will be located on-site at our Milwaukee office located in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
  • Candidates are expected to work on-site Monday to Thursday.
  • Candidates must be able to work 10 - 20 hours per week.
