Work experience as a Water Treatment Plant Operator B. Licenses or Certifications Possess and maintain Class "A" or equivalent Water Treatment Plant Operator license. Florida DEP license required within six (6) months of hire. Must possess a valid state driver's license and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion. Operator B: ($50,731.20 Min - $79,372.80 Max) Education and Experience High school diploma /GED. Work experience as a Water Treatment Plant Operator C. Licenses or Certifications Possess and maintain Class "B" or equivalent Water Treatment Plant Operator license. Florida DEP license required within six (6) months of hire. Must possess a valid state driver's license and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion. Operator C: ($48,318.40 Min - $75,587.20 Max) Education and Experience High school diploma /GED. Work experience as a Water Treatment Plant Operator trainee. Licenses or Certifications Possess and maintain Class "C" or equivalent Water Treatment Plant Operator license. Florida DEP license required within six (6) months of hire. Must possess a valid state driver's license and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion. *Key Responsibilities* Operates a Class "A" Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Facility to control flow and processing of groundwater in order to produce and provide an uninterrupted supply of potable water to customers. Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings and test results to determine processing requirements. Complies with state and federal regulatory requirements in providing potable water to the City. Completes, consults with and/or assists in daily technical operations of the assigned.
