APPLY Academic Programs Coordinator-AAP Department of City and Regional Planning The Opportunity The Department of City and Regional Planning (CRP) is seeking a dynamic and organized Academic Programs Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our academic mission. This position is an integral part of our administrative team and serves as the primary administrative contact for all CRP students, supporting six graduate degree programs and one undergraduate program. Working under the general direction of the Department Manager-and in close collaboration with faculty leaders and the Lead Graduate Program Associate-you will ensure the effective delivery of academic services and contribute meaningfully to a positive student experience. Key Responsibilities:
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) endowed position that is based in Ithaca, NY and fully on-site. Work hours are 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. About the Department of City and Regional Planning The Department of City and Regional Planning (CRP) provides a dynamic, rigorous, and supportive context for addressing the most timely planning questions of our time: from social and environmental justice to equity and access to essential services and infrastructures; from climate change adaptation to land use, zoning, and sustainable transportation and housing. The department of CRP is the home of leading programs in planning, historic preservation planning, and urban and regional studies and is comprised of approximately 20 core faculty, 120 undergraduate students, 150 graduate students, and 4 staff members.
