Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Service Operations Manager to join our team of over 1,100 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry.

Job Description:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the fire alarm, suppression, security, and sprinkler operations.

Coordinate and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair activities related to life safety systems.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.

Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Manage and evaluate team performance, providing guidance and training as needed.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain and improve operational excellence.

Play a key role in developing strategies for business growth and expansion.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors.

This position will be responsible for prospecting and developing new customers, business and customer development to include up-selling and multi-line development of services, providing and negotiating pricing for inspection contract sales.

Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact in pursuit of follow up sales.

Report progress and supply metrics to operations and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis.

Participate in trade shows, special product demonstrations, and other events with the objective of increasing sales and enhancing the company's image.

Proven experience in managing fire life safety systems operations, in a leadership role.

In-depth knowledge of fire alarm, suppression, security and sprinkler systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair processes.

Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Experience with Business-to-Business Sales in a new market.
