Payroll/Materials Associate

William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, is currently hiring aCertified Payroll/Materials Associate in our Rockford, IL office.

Certified Payroll:
Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for William Charles Construction and Ragnar Benson Certified Payroll compliance including the Certified Payroll compliance for all trucking owner operators. This position also contributes information for EEO reporting.

Quarry Materials:
This position is responsible for posting quarry material sales and production.

Responsible for creating and submitting certified payroll for all William Charles Construction jobs in multiple states on a weekly basis
• Responsible for tracking certified payroll compliance for all William Charles Construction Brokers and owner operators
• Create and send monthly EEO reports for certified payroll jobs
• Responsible for submitting certified payroll documentation to various public owners weekly/monthly
• Responsible for working with the Accounts Payable to determine weekly trucking payment
• Collect, reconcile and post daily quarry sales tickets and production
• Will provide other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Working knowledge of basic office practices, multi-line phones, fax machine, copier, etc.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
