Your role with us

Your positive attitude and dedication to meeting the unique needs of our patient population play a vital role in fostering a safe and supportive care environment. By maintaining continuous observation and promptly communicating relevant information to the nursing care team, you help ensure timely interventions and contribute to the overall quality and safety of patient care.

What you'll do

  • Provide continuous observation of assigned patients by remaining in the room and maintaining constant visual contact to ensure patient safety at all times.
  • Monitor and report patient activity and behavior to the assigned nurse, following specific instructions on what to observe, how to report, and to whom.
  • Communicate with patients in a respectful and compassionate manner, using appropriate language and allowing time for understanding while following nursing guidance on patient limitations and appropriate redirection techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient or unit needs as directed by nursing staff, while upholding patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
