Roles and Responsibilities

Operating Systems Management:

Administer and maintain both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Ensure system performance, availability, and security.

Containerization:

Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and PodMan.

Implement container orchestration solutions.

Application Development Support:

Collaborate with development teams to support Node.js and Angular applications.

Assist in the deployment and management of these applications.

Cloud Infrastructure:

Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure.

Utilize Azure Key Vault for secure storage of secrets and keys.

Kubernetes and AKS:

Deploy and manage applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Implement and manage services like Argo CD for continuous delivery.

CI/CD Pipeline Management:

Migrate CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions.

Manage and sunset legacy Jenkins and RunDeck pipelines, transitioning to GitHub actions.

Application Server Management:

Deploy and manage applications on Tomcat and WebLogic servers.

Support EMV application deployments and ART DevOps for Tomcat.

Security and Compliance:

Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and implement security scanning tools.

Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Automation and Scripting:

Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Python, shell scripts, and Terraform templates.

Develop and maintain automation scripts for various operational tasks.

Unix Command Proficiency:

Utilize Unix commands for system administration and troubleshooting.

Perform regular system monitoring and maintenance tasks.

Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until June 10^th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $98,000 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
