Position Title: Cycle Counter
Wage: $18.00 - $20.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Cycle Counter at a company in Fall River, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Cycle Counter Responsibilities: - Compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment - Count material, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer - Compare inventories to office records or compute figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory - Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies - Set up shop floor direct delivery address systems for inventoried materials and assist with material handler training of internal logistics Requirements for Cycle Counter: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution - 2+ years previous inventory / cycle counting experience in a manufacturing environment with longevity - Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English - Strong attention to detail - Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments - Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task - Strong basic math skills - Previous forklift experience - Exposure to a fast paced Lean manufacturing environment - Basic computer knowledge; SAP experience is a plus - Ability to lift up to 50lbs - Ability to stand for 8 hour shift - Ability to squat, bend and kneel frequently QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
