A Sr. Business Analyst evaluates a company's business strategy and helps it develop plans to reach its organizational goals. They use their analytical skills and experience in business operations to review and improve a company's efficiency, productivity, or profitability.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Sr. Business Analyst: $62/hr

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Sr. Business Analyst Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Could you collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and strategies?
  • Support the Program Manager to lead and manage various aspects of the project from inception to completion, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
  • Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions, ensuring clarity and understanding among all parties involved.
  • Mentor team members, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring the successful execution of business analysis practices.
  • Assess the impact of changes on business processes and systems and develop business cases to support decision-making.
  • Develop and propose system solutions that align with business goals.
  • Clearly articulate user needs, program specifications, and system functionality requirements.
  • Collaborate with software developers and engineers to design and implement solutions.
  • Offer strategic advice and consultation on complex projects and initiatives.
  • Act as a senior-level contributor, providing expertise and leadership.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Sr. Business Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Analyze business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and develop system solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies, as well as a solid understanding of IT systems and processes.
  • Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
