Job Title: Third-Party Risk Management Analyst Location: Rockville, MD
Employment Type: (Full-Time) Industry: Banking / Financial Services About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Third-Party Risk Management Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our organization by ensuring that our vendor and service provider relationships are secure, compliant, and aligned with the Interagency Guidance on Third-Party Relationships. Reporting to the Director of Third-Party Risk Management, you will help execute a comprehensive risk management program that spans the entire third-party lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk policies. * Assess and categorize third-party risks based on service criticality and exposure. * Perform due diligence across multiple risk domains including compliance, credit, reputational, strategic, operational, and cybersecurity. * Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously monitor and manage third-party risks. * Collaborate with Legal on contract lifecycle management, including renewals, expirations, and risk-related clauses. * Stay informed on emerging threats, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to ensure program alignment. Required Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in risk management or third-party risk management, preferably within the financial services sector. * Strong understanding of third-party risk management frameworks and methodologies. * Familiarity with regulatory standards and risk management frameworks relevant to the financial industry. * Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations (e.g., PCI DSS). * Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across departments. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. * Proven ability to influence stakeholders and resolve conflicts constructively.
