The Senior Business Strategy Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing Go to Market (GTM) strategies through advanced analytics, modeling, and cross-functional collaboration. This role partners with leadership to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver data-driven insights that influence strategic decisions across Economic Opportunity, Contract Performance, and Data Management. The analyst will also lead initiatives to enhance systems and processes in partnership with IT and other departments. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: O Lead the development and execution of GTM analytics to quantify financial impacts and support strategic decision-making. O Manage multiple high-priority initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of insights and alignment with business goals. O Design and implement advanced data models and tools that challenge conventional thinking and provide actionable insights to Sales and customers. O Maintain and evolve GTM dashboards and reporting frameworks to reflect current initiatives and performance metrics. O Collaborate with Sales, IT, Legal, Billing, and Energy Solutions to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives and customer needs. O Provide strategic support to Sales and Account Executives through time-sensitive analysis of new and existing business opportunities. O Evaluate the commercial impact of pricing decisions and ensure alignment with business unit risk and profitability goals. O Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to enhance forecasting, segmentation, and opportunity analysis. O Mentor analysts and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and analytical excellence. Working Conditions: O Hybrid role, open office environment O Minimal travel (1-2 times / year) Minimum Requirements: O Bachelor's degree O 3-6 years professional experience Preferred Qualifications: O Energy industry experience, particularly in pricing or GTM strategy O Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) O Experience with Python, R, or other statistical programming languages O Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning O Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: O Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present to senior leadership O High degree of ownership and accountability for outcomes O Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and make sound decisions O Experience designing macros in VBA and integrating models with multiple data sources O Willingness to continuously develop technical and strategic capabilities The base salary range for this position is: $96,480-173,640. *The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition the position may be eligible to participate in the benefits program which include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending accounts.
