Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at the CCA Community Crisis Respite. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage each aspect of the treatment and discharge planning process from admission through discharge. Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling to clients experiencing psychiatric distress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, APCs, nurses, and case managers, to ensure wraparound care for clients. Works with the Nurse Manager (who may be employed by a partner organization) to provide clinical oversight to Mental Health Workers in how they conduct and document admissions, treatment plans, client daily documentation, and discharge summaries. Ensure that the unit follows the daily schedule of program activities, client meetings, and groups. Oversight of therapeutic groups as leader, co-leader, and observer. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and social needs. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record following appropriate clinical and regulatory requirements. Continually evaluate and modernize relevant workflows and processes as they relate to the role and providing high quality care. Maintains effective working relationships with DMH, ESP's, local community resources, and treatment/rehabilitation programs throughout the Greater Boston community. Participate in daily rounds with multidisciplinary team and organizes follow up of identified issues for the unit and for the individual clients. Performs all other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor.

Demonstrated skills in working as an effective team player in a fast-paced unit. Demonstrated supervisory experience and familiarity with a range of behavioral health systems complexity including but not limited to continuum of care and resources. Excellent writing, computer, and verbal communication skills.
