Charlottesville, VA Pay From: $22 per hour MUST: Experienced Medical Assistant - Gastroenterology 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant Strong clinical knowledge and confident in knowledge Strong charting skills and highly experienced with EMR Must be comfortable working with patients over the phone Must have EMR experience DUTIES: Triage patients by phone Serve as a liaison between patients and doctor Review labs with patients by phone Process prescriptions Take post op calls and understand how to respond to post op questions Assist the doctor as needed Review a patient's chart for and histories to make sure they will be ok during procedures Enter patient information into EMR Other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
