 Job Title: Project Manager (Utilities)
  Location: Atlanta, GA
  Salary: $140,000 Job Description:
  Our client, a well-established organization in the utilities sector, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee capital projects focused on utility infrastructure, particularly in the natural gas space. This role is based in Atlanta, GA and involves managing budgets, schedules, contractor performance, and project risk for active field and engineering projects. Key Responsibilities: 
 
  
 
 Create and manage project execution plans from start to finish 
 
 Ensure alignment with established project delivery processes and client standards 
 
 Coordinate and schedule project meetings with stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, agencies, and internal teams 
 
 Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual commitments 
 
 Review and manage contractor invoices and change orders on behalf of the client 
 
 Track project schedules, budgets, and ensure overall project health 
 
 Identify and manage project risks; develop mitigation plans as needed 
 
 Prepare and present monthly project status reports and updates to senior leadership 
 
 May provide oversight to technical staff or associate project managers 
 
 Perform other duties as assigned in support of project success 
  
 
 
Qualifications: 
 
  
 
 Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field 
 
 5+ years of project management experience, with a focus on utility infrastructure projects (natural gas experience preferred) 
 
 PMP certification preferred 
 
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
 
 Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills 
 
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to leadership
