Milwaukee Public Schools seeks an exceptional Instructional Coach - First Nations Studies College Access (9-12) candidate who is highly qualified and knowledgeable to join our community of teachers, learners, and leaders. The First Nations Studies (FNS) College Access Teacher is a non-evaluative, non-supervisory teacher position that will provide and coordinate college and career development services to Native American students. This position will work closely with the First Nations Studies Specialist and departmental team members to support strong academic outcomes for Native American students. The FNS College Access Teacher ensures the First Nations Studies secondary school students have means, opportunity, and preparation to access post-secondary education, ranging from two- or four-year colleges, apprenticeships, certification programs, military, etc., to be successful in the workplace. The FNS College Access Teacher works and collaborates within First Nations Studies providing students the culturally relevant curriculum designed for First Nations students.
