Description Empire Roofing, A Tecta America Company, has grown significantly over the years, thanks in large part to its commitment to quality and word-of-mouth promotion. It has expanded to multiple locations and was recently acquired by Tecta America Corporation, one of the largest roofing contractors in the United States. We are looking for a commercial roofing laborer/driver and laborers in Houston, TX! Schedule could vary!! Shifts from 5 AM - 5 PM as well as overnights 12 AM- 12 PM Pay starting at $18+/hr BOE Se habla Espanol! Commercial Roofing Driver/ Laborer Summary: Previous roofing experience and valid driver's license required. You will be driving the roofing crews to and from work sites, as well as working as a roofing laborer assisting roofing crews. Excellent pay, dependent on experience and full benefits package. Year round work available. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Accepting delivery of inventory. Counting and confirming inventory. Inspecting inventory for damage and faults. Communicating errors to relevant parties. Marking and labeling stock. Storing inventory in accessible manner. Loading and wrapping stock on pallets. Building loads with forklift and pallet jack. Driving up to a 24 foot flatbed truck Commercial Roofing Driver/ Laborer Requirements: Repair and maintenance on all roof systems including shing, metal roofs, all phases of commercial roof systems. Knowledge of these systems is helpful but not required, WE WILL TRAIN YOU! Ability to perform assigned tasks daily through completion with a strong attention to detail. Clean motor vehicle record, and background check. Driver's License Required; will need to complete DOT medical exam. Lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to work with others.
