About the Opportunity:

The QA Technician role is a temporary role for students pursuing an education in Document Control or a compatible field. This role will give experience by working on real-life Document Control projects, also providing administrative support.

Location: Eastford CT

This is a temporary role 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM working Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Scanning work orders
  • Document calibrated gages
  • Provides administrative support
  • May interact with other departments

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands On, Detail Oriented.
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demands to meet deadlines
  • Able to effectively work with all levels of employees throughout the organization
  • Maintains company values and holds self and others to the highest standards of conduct
  • High school education or above

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Requirements:

  • Light to moderate physical effort required
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the facility
