Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the Critical Care and Trauma Institute (CCTI) within the designated region. Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as relates to the care provided. Implementation of standardized practice and quality measures across the CCTI areas of oversight. Maintains efficient and effective departmental operations while in required compliance with all state, federal and local regulations, laws standards and protocols. Ensure the mission of CCTI, WVUH and WVU Medicine are upheld.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Other duties may be assigned. 1.Strategic and administrative oversight responsibility for Critical Care and Trauma Institute. 4.Identifies the goals and objectives of each program, develops a plan to achieve them and successfully executes the plans. 15. Manages, as appropriate, the operational, personnel, and financial aspects of CCTI, in collaboration with the local leadership. 16. Provides ongoing feedback to employees concerning job performance in a professional and constructive manner. Outlines goal development plans for direct reports. Counsels and disciplines employees when necessary. 17. Performs on-going written performance reviews and any necessary employee action plans according to hospital policy. 18. Initiates and maintains appropriate personnel records.
