This position involves providing technical support and account management services to both internal staff and external users. Key responsibilities include assisting users with login issues, managing user accounts, and offering first- and second-level support for hardware, software, and network-related problems.
*Typical tasks include:* * Verifying user identities and helping with password resets or account unlocks * Guiding users through self-service tools for future account recovery * Escalating issues to other teams when necessary * Documenting support interactions in a ticketing system * Troubleshooting and resolving issues with computers, software, and connectivity * Managing and deploying laptops and desktops * Handling software installation and service requests * Using tools to manage user accounts and ensure security The role involves working with common software and tools such as Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Adobe products, VPNs, and multi-factor authentication systems. This position works hybrid, requring one day per week in office in Madison, WI. *Required skills:* * Experience providing IT support in a professional environment (6+ months) * Familiarity with Microsoft Office * Experience managing user accounts and access *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
