Minimum Job Requirements

* Physical- sedentary work, proficient in using a 10 key and proficient in using a PC keyboard

* Working Hours- fulltime (40 hrs/week) employment

* Occasionally move products or office materials independently weighing up to 30 pounds.

* Occasionally stand for an extended period of time when attending career fairs or employment events.

* Personal Traits- Good communication and telephone skills with pleasant demeanor. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely completion of hiring activities in alignment with organizational needs. They have the authority to communicate job offers to candidates within approved guidelines and are accountable for reporting recruitment metrics and maintaining accurate data in the HRIS. The recruiter works closely with hiring managers to support staffing requirements, ensures compliance with HR policies and labor regulations, and contributes to continuous improvement of recruitment processes.

* Develop and implement strategic, inclusive recruiting practices to attract diverse talent.

* Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and post job openings across multiple job boards.

* Screen resumes, shortlist qualified candidates, and schedule interviews.

* Conduct phone and in-person interviews.

* Administer interview processes and candidate assessments.

* Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and follow up on interview outcomes.

* Extend job offers and manage onboarding documentation.

* Perform background checks and reference verifications.

* Provide candidates with information about the company, benefits, and job roles during the screening process.

* Maintain and update recruiting databases and generate employment activity reports.

* Stay informed on organizational structure, personnel policies, and federal/state employment laws.

* Serve as a liaison to local employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations.

* Represent the company at career fairs and lead community outreach efforts.

* Support the HR Supervisor in strengthening the company's recruitment functions.

* Serve as an HR Generalist when recruitment slows down.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* High attention to detail and accuracy.

* Strong knowledge of anti-discrimination plans and programs.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professionalism and tact.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivated and results driven.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree required; degree in Human Resources preferred. 2-3 years of recruiting experience required.
