POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Rental & Leasing Specialist reports to the Division President
  • Located in Bedford Park, IL
  • Full-Time
  • Hybrid



As a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Rental Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the rental and leasing processes of commercial kitchen equipment to clients in various industries such as restaurants, hotels, catering services, and other foodservice establishments. You will work closely with clients to understand their equipment needs, negotiate rental and lease terms, facilitating the processes from start to finish. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as a thorough understanding of commercial kitchen equipment, rental, and leasing practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Acquisition:





    • Identify potential clients in need of commercial kitchen equipment rental services through market research, networking, and cold calling. Develop a pipeline of leads and opportunities in the region.




Lead Conversion:





    • Partner with Sales leadership to convert leads into clients and establish a strong presence for TriMark within the region.
    • Collaborate on strategies to effectively engage and secure new business.




Client Relationship Management:





    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their specific equipment needs and financial requirements.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the rental process.




Client Education:





    • Educate clients about the advantages of renting commercial kitchen equipment versus purchasing outright. Provide detailed information on how renting can meet their operational needs and financial goals.




Supplier Collaboration:





    • Collaborate with equipment suppliers and manufacturers to source appropriate equipment that aligns with clients' requirements. Ensure the availability and suitability of equipment for rental purposes.




Negotiation:





    • Negotiate rental terms and pricing with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Tailor rental packages to meet clients' needs while ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.




Documentation Preparation:





    • Prepare rental and lease agreements and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.




Coordination:





    • Coordinate with clients and equipment suppliers to arrange delivery, installation, and training of rented equipment. Ensure a smooth and efficient setup process.




Client Support:





    • Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients throughout the duration of the rental term. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure client satisfaction.




Monitoring & Compliance:





    • Monitor rental and lease agreements to ensure timely payments and compliance with terms and conditions. Follow up with clients as needed to manage account status.




Issue Resolution:





    • Resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the rental and leasing process in a timely and professional manner. Ensure that solutions align with client expectations and company policies.





COMPETENCIES:



  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex rental and leasing terms and agreements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • Previous experience in sales, equipment rental and leasing, or the commercial kitchen equipment industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
