About the role:
As an PEP+ Application Architect, you will be developing, testing, ensuring efficient and accurate ACH processing.As the PEP+ Leader you will work with various modules and APIs to integrate with other systems and enhance the user experience.

About the team:
PEP+ (Paperless Entry Processing System) application is a software solution used to manage and process Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. It enables online access, automated edits and interfaces, and offers features like fraud detection and settlement processing. PEP+ is designed to streamline ACH processing, improve efficiency, and potentially reduce cost.

What you will be doing:

  • Provides subject matter expertise for support and maintenance of PEP+ application, including upgrades, enhancements, incident remediation, acquisitions, and new customer adds.

  • Defining and maintaining a library of functional component models for the PEP+ application.

  • Documenting functional product solutions as well as key FIS financial services opportunities.

  • Maintaining a catalogue of reusable functional application components relevant for applications and product lines.

What you will need:

PEP+ is a mainframe-based COBOL and DB2 application that processes ACH transactions from the FED via multiple processing windows throughout the day.

  • Expertise with the PEP+ application.

  • Experience supporting the mainframe version of PEP+ is highly recommended.

  • Expertise with end-to-end systems development life cycles and a background leading large projects.

  • 5+ years in a distributed and heterogeneous computing environment, working with relational or hierarchical databases.

  • Experience designing and implementing applications in a shared service bureau environment.

  • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques.

  • A Bachelor's in computer science or engineering, or the equivalent experience.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $119,560.00 - $200,840.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
