The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services ensuring the security, safety, and reliability of high consequence operations.

SD's Surety Programs Group (SPG) is hiring for a Full Stack Web Application Developer that will work as part of a cross-functional team to develop software tools and web applications that directly impact our customer's critical missions. Applications range from operational planning tools, 3D orientation and training tools, project management support, and integration of the latest cloud-based AI platforms. This position is based at SPA HQ in Alexandria, Virginia.



Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will be to implement design ideas, concepts, and requirements into functional and engaging software applications. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated designs, and quality products are essential. Successful candidates will be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while facing multiple deadlines and competing resources. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Develop applications based on the functionality, visualization, and interface requirements established by customers and project leads
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define, design, and develop new features for ongoing applications
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Optimize applications for performance, efficiency, and scalability in cloud-based environments
  • Task tracking and source control using Microsoft Team Foundation Server Jira


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen with SECRET clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience with full stack web application development.
  • Experience with full stack development utilizing a REACT frontend and ASP.NET Core backend, Entity Framework Core.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs.
  • Familiarity with RESTful principles.
  • Familiarity with AI workflows and platforms (e.g., Azure AI Foundary).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with utilities such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, LESS, Selenium, Bootstrap, SQL, Knockout.
  • Experience with the .NET ecosystem: C# and application development with WPF.
  • Familiarity with the Unity Game Engine.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies for secure development.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) best practices.
  • Familiarity with other API architectural styles such as GraphQL, gRPC, SOAP.
