We are currently hiring a remote Provider Implementation Specialist for one of the top healthcare companies in Colorado! This position will start out part time, but eventually turn full time.
*Description* * Requests will come in from other departments with a new customer launch or expansion to a new product. * Identify all information they need in the request, if it's not, send it back to get those details (like pricing, billing terms) * Reach out to insurance contact that's provided with a template email to introduce themselves and start process - will mostly be dealing with payers they've set up before, so they'll be working off a template via email. * For new payers, will need to schedule a call with insurance and talk through the billing process. * Must be able to adapt depending on insurance requirements and how the billing process will work. * Update internal data sheets to reflect customer onboarding process. * Control testing process once customer is launched. Be in contact with insurance company to verify first batch of claims are processed correctly. Once it's validated that the new customer is billed correctly, they pass this work off to the charge entry team for maintenance. * Monitor price increases for existing customers. Generally the price increases 1x a year. Most hit Jan. 1 but some go off of launch date so will need to keep track of contract terms to stay organized and track when those increases adjust. * A lot of data maintenance- anytime something changes with a customer or insurance company, they make updates so it bills correctly. * Act as a liaison between billing team + sales + customer service, they bridge the gap between implementation and billing. * Pull information from a lot of different places and aggregate it themselves, requires a lot of communication skills and critical thinking. Not reading off an SOP - will be adapting to whatever insurance company needs to set it up. *Qualifications* MUST HAVE * Minimum of 6 months of Administrative Healthcare experience - understanding of payers and providers * Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a role that requires critical thinking and was not scripted * Very personable with high confidence in front of people and knowledge working with payers * Clear communication, able to think through scenarios and guide someone through a process * Ability to manage multiple processes at once #westpriority25 *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
