Low Voltage Systems Technician - Knoxville, TN Work with a TEKsystems Client to Power Schools and Commercial Innovation Are you ready to make a real impact with your hands-on skills? We're looking for a dependable, motivated Technician to help install, service, and troubleshoot the systems that keep schools safe and businesses running smoothly. From fire alarms to access control, your work will directly support the spaces where people learn, work, and thrive. What You'll Do: * Install and maintain low voltage systems including Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Call, and Intercoms. * Work on-site at local school systems and large commercial facilities across the Knoxville area. * Collaborate with experienced technicians and project leads on structured cabling and Cat6 installations. * Occasionally travel for out-of-town projects (always home on weekends), with transportation support available. What You Bring: * A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to reliability. * Experience with cable pulling, punchdowns, and low voltage systems is a plus-but we'll train the right person. * A passion for building systems that matter to your community. Requirements: * Reliable transportation to job sites. * Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. * OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain). * Flexibility to work varied hours when needed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
