*Job Title:* OSP Field Inspector
*Location:* Columbus, OH *Overview:* Our company is seeking an experienced OSP Field Inspector to support our expanding fiber network in the Columbus, OH area. This is a long-term contract role ideal for someone with a strong knowledge in fiber, utilities, and field inspections. You will serve as the eyes and ears of our construction management team, ensuring that all work meets the companies standards. There will be drug, BG, and driving checks associated with this role. *Key Responsibilities:* * Travel between construction sites to inspect ongoing fiber builds. * Ensure construction crews adhere to the companies specifications and timelines. * Document site progress with detailed reports and photographs. * Communicate regularly with Construction Managers (CMs) and Project Managers (PMs). * Escalate issues when work is not performed to standard or timelines are not met. * Maintain a proactive approach to quality assurance and safety compliance. *Required Qualifications:* * Proven experience in OSP field inspections and fiber construction. * Strong understanding of fiber build processes and industry standards. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple site visits daily. * Excellent communication and reporting skills. * Comfortable providing feedback and escalating issues when necessary. *Additional Information:* * Work Environment: Field-based role with extensive travel across the Columbus area. * Tools Provided: Company vehicle and necessary equipment for inspections. * Employee Value Proposition: Be part of a growing company and play a key role in launching a new market for fiber network. *Why Join Us?* This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the expansion of a cutting-edge fiber network in a brand-new market.
