Overview: The Forensic Interviewer/Mental Health Advocate is responsible for interviewing families and youth regarding child maltreatment and family violence for the purpose of medical diagnosis and treatment. The FI/MHA must possess the ability to manage a multi-disciplinary child abuse investigative team. The FI/MHA must demonstrate competency in appropriate use of mental health interventions when working with child and parents. This individual will provide culturally competent services in all areas.
Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
