Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven HR Analyst to join our Human Resources team during an exciting period of HR technology transformation. This role will support key HR functions by performing in-depth compensation and benefits analysis, managing survey submissions, and producing ad-hoc reports while learning from experienced practitioners as we modernize our systems and processes. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and capable of telling compelling stories with data that drive informed decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who can work effectively with current systems while actively identifying opportunities for improvement and maintaining rigorous data quality standards.
Role Responsibilities
- Compensation Analysis:
- Assist with benchmarking and market pricing of jobs using external surveys and internal data.
- Maintain compensation data, job descriptions, and pay structures.
- Support the annual compensation review cycle, including merit, bonus, and equity analysis.
- Benefits Analysis:
- Analyze benefits data to evaluate cost, utilization, and competitiveness.
- Assist in benefits reporting and compliance (e.g., ACA, 5500s).
- Support annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes with data analysis and vendor coordination.
- Survey Management:
- Coordinate and complete compensation, benefits, and workforce-related surveys (e.g., Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, etc.).
- Maintain survey records and results for internal use and reference.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
- HR Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop clear, actionable reports that help HR and business leaders make informed decisions
- Create data summaries that highlight key trends and insights for stakeholders
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify reporting needs and build dashboards or custom reports as necessary
- Validate data accuracy through systematic quality checks and cross-referencing multiple sources, maintaining a curiosity-driven approach to questioning outputs and ensuring completeness
- Proactively identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities while completing daily tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of HR or data analysis experience, preferably with exposure to compensation and benefits.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas); experience with HRIS/reporting tools (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to present data in a clear, actionable format.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
